Family caregivers of older adults, people of any age with disabilities, and professionals are invited to participate in a toll-free telephone education program on Thursday, April 18, at either 12:00 noon or 7:00 p.m.
The topic for the 45-minute session is, “Alzheimer’s and Dementia: Do You Have a Care Plan?” It will be presented by Sara Rotenberry and Shelly Young of the Alzheimer’s Association as part of a free, on-going caregiver education program sponsored by NCTCOG’s Aging Program.
On Monday, April 30, pharmacist Mike Varnell will present, “What About All Those Medications?” The presentation will be held one time only, at noon.
Participants may register online for either program by going to caregiversos.org/caregiver-teleconnection and choosing one of the two sessions. Alternatively, participants may register by phone by calling toll free 1-866-390-6491, from 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
