Monthly Bereavement Luncheon

 

Upcoming Dates and Speakers

 

VNA Hospice bereavement luncheons are open to any adult in the community that has lost a loved one.  The luncheon provides an opportunity for bereaved persons

to enjoy a nice lunch, pick up some helpful grief literature, and hear a practical program about the grief process. 

There is no charge for attendance.

 

The monthly luncheon is held the last Thursday of each month

(the third Thursday in November and December)

from 12 noon to 1:00 p.m. at:

Preston Hollow United Methodist Church

We sincerely hope you and your loved ones

of reflection and remembrance.

 

We will celebrate the lives of those we have lost

with special music, selected readings, and

the opportunity to light a memorial candle.

 

Following the service there will be a reception in the fellowship area of the church.

Healing Through the Holidays

 

VNA Hospice invites you to participate in our holiday grief support workshop, open to any adult in the community who has experienced the death of a loved one.

 

 

WHEN:   Tuesday, November 8, 2011

1o:00 to 12:00 p.m.

 

WHERE:  The Patrick and Beatrice Haggerty Center, 1440 W. Mockingbird Lane, Dallas, Texas

 

This workshop is designed to give grieving persons

support and practical suggestions

for dealing with grief during the holidays.

 

 

Handouts on grief and other resource

literature will be available.

 

There is no fee for this workshop.
