Something for you and your grandkids to do this summer!

My daughter wanted to go bowling for her birthday. Even though she had only been once, she thought it sounded like a lot of fun. And it was! We had the best time. It did not matter what the score was, it was fun to get out and do something different.

Once upon a time, a long time ago, there was a bowling alley in what is now our fashionably trendy area known as Bishop Arts. My parents, aunts and uncles, and all of us kids were regulars. It seemed like so much fun to compete as a group and against yourself.

Today I found a great website that is offering 2 free games of bowling EVERY DAY all summer long!

And to accommodate parents, and I am guessing grandparents, you can take advantage of this offer:

In order to accommodate parents and older children in your family that may like to bowl, the participating bowling centers are offering a Family Pass. The Family Pass provides the same great "2 games a day" package for up to 4 adult family members for a one-time payment of $23.95.

Our trip to the lanes cost $9.00 for one game and shoe rental, each, so you can see what a bargain this is.

If you are keeping your darlings this summer and wondering what ever can you do to fill up their time, check this out. There aren't too many in the Dallas area yet, but it says to keep checking. And they are all over the US.

Click on this link and it will show you all the details.
